With the sun shining, today was a perfect day for taking our maths lesson outside! With our “Maths Eyes” wide open, we went on a special shape hunt around the school grounds to find 2D Shapes hidden in the world around us. Before we set off, we reminded ourselves what 2D shapes are. Then, with clipboards in hand, we stepped into the sunshine and became shape detectives! We learned that shapes are everywhere- not just in our books or worksheets!
