We were delighted to welcome Julien Porzadny, a French teacher working in partnership with the French Embassy in Ireland, to our school this week as part of the 20-20 French Project. This initiative supports the introduction of modern foreign languages in primary schools and aims to introduce primary school pupils to the French language in a positive and engaging way.
Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed the lively French taster workshops, where they had the opportunity to speak French, take part in interactive activities, and explore elements of French culture. The sessions were age-appropriate, energetic and highly engaging, giving pupils a very positive first experience of learning a foreign language ahead of secondary school.
We would like to thank Julien for an excellent visit and for providing our pupils with such an enjoyable and memorable introduction to French.
