Fun-filled Sports Day!

What an unforgettable day we had at our School Sports Day! The sun was shining, spirits were high, and the air was buzzing with excitement as we geared up for a day full of fun, friendly competition, and laughter.

We kicked things off with some high-energy sprints, followed by a long-distance race that really tested our endurance — five full laps around our two pitches! After catching our breath, the real fun began with a series of novelty races. From the classic sack race to the wobbly three-legged race, the nerve-wracking potato and spoon race, the hilarious bear crawl and spider races, and the slightly challenging piggy-back and wheelbarrow races — there wasn’t a dull moment. Of course, no sports day would be complete without the wellington throwing contest, with some incredible throws soaring across the pitch!

Next, we were divided into teams for a variety of games, with everyone giving their all to earn points and claim the coveted team prize of miniature gold trophies. One of the highlights of the team competition was the tug-o-war, where teams pulled with all their strength in one of the most competitive and entertaining events of the day.

And just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, in rolled the ice-cream van and we thoroughly enjoyed a nice, cool treat – the perfect way to celebrate an amazing day.

A massive thank you to Leah and our teachers for organising such a fantastic event. Every race, game, and surprise was perfectly planned, and it’s a day we’ll all remember for a long time.
