Earlier this year, we got our hands wonderfully messy as we explored the creative world of clay! With curiosity and enthusiasm, we rolled, pinched, and shaped our clay into all sorts of imaginative forms – from abstract sculptures to recognisable figures, and flat plaques. We also experimented with combining and joining different pieces to make our designs more interesting. After allowing our work to dry thoroughly, we moved on to painting, using a wide range of vibrant colours, including some we created ourselves by combining two or more colours. This hands-on art activity was not only great fun but also a fantastic way to develop fine motor skills, patience, and creativity. Well done to everyone involved and hopefully, these clay masterpieces are now proudly displayed at home for all to admire!
