Saturday was a special day for our very special 2nd class children who received the Sacrament of the Eucharist for the very first time. In the days leading up to the ceremony, they all worked hard on their readings and prayers, and on the day, they performed excellently. Of course, they also all looked beautiful. After the Mass, the Parish Council treated everyone to some refreshments and a special Holy Communion cake with the First Holy Communion children also receiving an individualised cupcake. We are very proud of our 2nd class children and hope they had a great day celebrating with their families. This is the 3rd sacrament for these children as late last month, they celebrated the Sacrament of Penance.
