In history, after reading lots and lots about explorers including Christopher Columbus, Marco Polo, Vasco da Gama, James Cook, Ferdinand Magellan, Tom Crean, Hernan Cortés, etc., we decided to showcase our knowledge by completing a project. In groups, we wrote out lots of facts with added illustrations and after sticking our material onto backing paper, we presented our material to the class. Some of the groups had similar facts but the repetition helped to reinforce our knowledge and further our understanding. This was another enjoyable activity to complete with our friends and we are ready to go again with the next project or group activity.
