In the senior room, we are working on our history skills and, so were tasked with completing a project on an ancient civilisation. This was a group project with each class forming one group. Each group’s first task was to choose the ancient civilisation they wished to explore and after some discussion, Ancient Greeks (6th class), Ancient Romans (5th class), the Celts (4th class) and Ancient Egyptians (3rd class) were chosen. Each group worked really hard on researching lots of interesting facts, and sourcing lots of images, before presenting their material on slides. Then, after spending some time rehearsing for their oral presentation, they presented their project to the class. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to all the presentations and we learned lots about the four different civilisations.
