During the final term, we participated in the Cycle Right Programme with Simon as our coach. In the first lesson, Simon taught us lots about safe cycling (including bicycle safety checks, correct fitting of helmet, wearing of hi-vis clothing, impact of weather, etc.), rules of the road and road signs. During the follow-up lessons, we learned and practised lots of new cycling skills and we thoroughly enjoyed all the fun drills and activities.
For the final session, Simon, Pauline, Leah and our teacher accompanied us on our road cycle. Despite the rain which forced us to take shelter before and during our trip, we really enjoyed our cycle and we loved putting all our newly-learned skills into practice.
