Our annual school sports is always an eagerly-awaited event in our school and this year was no exception. We came to school sports-ready with potato, sack, teddy, etc. Our day started off with the usual races, e.g. running, sack, 3-legged, potato and spoon, piggyback, wheelbarrow, washing line, spider, etc. Then we had the tug o’ war. As usual this was great fun as we pulled with all our might to win a place in the final but only 2 teams could claim that prize and only the very strongest could pull all the way to victory. After a break, which included an ice-cream, we proceeded with lots of team events. The competition was mighty but also lots and lots of fun. In the end, one team did come out on top but everyone had a wonderfully fun-filled day. Thank you to Leah for all her help and for introducing some great new events.
