This week, we enjoyed a very engaging history presentation with Dave. First of all, Dave talked about World War 2 and he shared with us lots of interesting information, a lot of which we had never heard before as Dave didn’t stick to the regular history book-type content. He also showed us lots and lots of artifacts (including weaponry and clothing) relevant to this period in history. Then Dave moved on to talk about ‘The Plantations’ in Ireland and again he shared with us lots of facts we hadn’t read in our history books. We really enjoyed our ‘History Day’ with Dave and we’re hoping he might make a return visit next year.
