Earlier this year, Conor, from Sligo GAA Coaching & Games, visited our school to choose our representatives for the GAAmigos regional competition. After working through the various skills which involved soloing, passing, shooting and catching, our boys’ and girls’ teams were chosen. Last week, these teams attended the regional final competition and though, we worked hard, we did not claim the top spot and a place in the County Final. However, we had an enjoyable evening and hopefully, the experience will help to progress our Gaelic skills.
