Earlier this month, we participated in the carepark.ie programme. Through this programme, residents in nursing homes are connected with volunteers who will send them a little gift to brighten up their Christmas. A separate programme is run for schools and young people who send a letter/card/drawing instead of a gift. We created lovely cards as part of our participation and the senior children also wrote a letter. We hope the recipients of our cards and letters enjoyed reading them as much as we enjoyed writing them.
