This week, we decked out in a ‘bit o red’ for the visit of Conor from Sligo Rovers Academy and Helen, Keela, and past pupil, Leah, from Sligo Rovers Women’s Team. After a training session, during which we practised our ball-handling skills, we played a match. Then, we got a few autographs and the girls seemed to enjoy playing in our playground and just chatting to us. This was a very enjoyable event. It is certainly good to promote our own local football team and also women in sport!
