Cumann na mBunscol competitions are always eagerly awaited in our school and, so it was with great excitement, we headed off to the first matches of the 2-teacher school competition. In all, six schools were competing with all equally keen to book a place in Markievics Park for the final. Our girls were first to take to the field and they battled hard in this game and in the following games and we were delighted to see them secure three victories. Similarly, our boys worked hard and we were thrilled when they were declared the group winner and a cup finalist. So, now we wait excitedly for the final but win or lose, we are very proud of our boys and know many of them have a bright future ahead of them playing our national game.
