There was much excitement recently in our local area as St. Farnan’s GAA made it to the County Intermediate Championship Final. Prior to the match, members of the St. Farnan’s team visited our school with match tickets while after the match (which St. Farnan’s won) they visited again bringing with them the Joe McMorrow Cup and the league cup which they had won earlier in the season. We were delighted for the team especially as so many of our past pupils were on the team and Ciarán (another past pupil) was their captain. We wish the team every success as they seek provincial glory.
