Sports Day

We had simply an amazing day on our school “Sports Day”. The damp morning did nothing to dampen our spirits and we ran off various athletic events with more than a little drop of rain cooling us down. Of course, when we saw “Beat the Bounce” van roll in, we were just ecstatic. After a session on the bouncy castle, we returned to our sports events and we completed the throwing competitions, the penalty shootout and the very competitive tug of war. At lunch time, we were treated to tasty sweet treats from Leah’s sweet cart and towards evening, when we thought things couldn’t get any better, we heard the familiar sound of the ice-cream van. What a day?
