Maths Trail

This year, Maths Week was celebrated in style in our school. The children in 5th/6th Class designed a very challenging and interesting Maths Trail for the junior children while our principal composed a similarly challenging Maths Trail for the children in 3rd/4th Class and a separate Maths Trail for the 5th/6th Class children. Our trails incorporated every area of the Maths Curriculum, including length, area, the circle, 2D shapes, 3D shapes, time, number operations, place value, etc. We really enjoyed our Maths work outdoors and doing this Maths Trail really helped to reinforce a lot of the Maths we are doing in class.
