Markievicz Park – Here we Come!

Last week, we went to Skreen Community Park to play our Cumann na mBunscol matches. This year we are playing in the Mixed Competition. We played Ballinlig N.S. in the first game. This was a really tough game between two very evenly matched teams and at the end of normal time, nothing separated the two teams. Hence, we had to play extra time and we were so lucky to have edged in front when the referee blew the final whistle. Next, we played Kilrusheighter N.S. in a very entertaining local derby. As we went on to win this game and also top the group, we made it to the semi-final where our opponents were Coolbock N.S. We really enjoyed this game and we were so happy to win it thereby securing our place in the final which will take place on Saturday, 26th May in Markievicz Park. We are really looking forward to our final and we hope lots of people come out to support us.
