Beekeeper Workshop

Recently we had a visit from Daithí Lavelle who is a beekeeper. Daithí told us lots about bees and his work as a beekeeper. Being a beekeeper is a busy job and Daithí works hard to keep all the bees in his hives happy. Daithí showed us one of his beehives (it was uninhabited!) and he also modelled his beekeeper’s suit for us. As a follow-up activity. we are going to draw some pictures and write some poems for display at Daithí’s Honey Show in Dromore West Community Centre on Monday, 23rd October.
