Sr. Patricia visited us last week as part of our preparation for Confirmation. First of all we made a huge jigsaw which we found quite challenging despite working as a class group. The jigsaw depicted a wonderfully colourful rural scene and we discussed it at length as we looked for religious symbols represented in it. In particular, we noted symbols of the Holy Spirit, ie. fire, breath and wind. Sr. Patricia left a flame-shaped template for each of us and over the next few days while learning about the Fruits of the Holy Spirit, we will choose one “Fruit” which our flame will represent. We are enjoying our sacramental preparation and we are really looking forward to our Confirmation.
