The first dedicated Irish language television channel Cúla4, for 0 – 12 year olds, was launched on Friday September 8th.
Cúla4, which airs from 6am – 8pm daily, is available on Saorview – Channel 18, Channel 602 on Virgin Media, Sky 624 and Eir. The channel is also online via the player cula4.com and on the Cúla4 app.
Nuacht Cúla4, a six-minute news programme for children, will also be available on this channel. This will be broadcast from Tuesday to Friday at 1.30pm and can be accessed live online at https://cula4.com/ga/beo Nuacht Cúla4 is produced by Fíbín Media and presented by Aisling Ní Dhonnabháin and Seán Ó Maoilchiaráin.
Cúla4 will include a wealth of entertainment, drama, a mix of home-produced content and acquired shows as well as being a valuable source of educational Irish language content.
